A person affiliated with “Georgian Dream,” Gia Abashidze, is discrediting “Netgazeti”

A person affiliated with “Georgian Dream,” Gia Abashidze, who positions himself as an expert, refers to the online publication “Netgazeti” as a “Euro-financed wall newspaper” and a propagandist for the National Movement – the media of the “Nats-bubble” and “Nats-sect.”

The so-called expert attacks the publication over an article that analyzes the results of Iceland’s referendum on joining the European Union. “Who should we believe more regarding the reasons for the Icelanders’ decision – the Euro-financed wall newspaper of the criminal Mzia Amaghlobeli, ‘Netgazeti’, whose ‘most precious’ respondents are representatives of an expert parody, or Iris Erlingsdottir – an experienced Icelandic journalist and editor?” writes Abashidze, and then develops the ruling party’s anti-Western message box that Iceland “chose sovereignty over the European Union” – “The funniest thing is exactly this: Icelanders made the decision about their country’s future themselves, while the ‘Nats-savages’ took it upon themselves to explain it in their stead.”

This is not the first time that “Netgazeti” has become the target of discreditation by members of “Georgian Dream” or persons connected to them. Such attacks against the publication have become especially frequent since the illegal arrest of the publications’ founder, Mzia Amaghlobeli.
