Police Attaché at Georgian Embassy in Poland Discredits Founders of ‘Netgazeti’ and ‘Batumelebi’

Giorgi Gamsakhurdia, a police attaché in Poland aligned with “Georgian Dream,” is spreading statement containing homophobic content directed at Eter Turadze and Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founders of the media outlets “Batumelebi” and “Netgazeti.” Through these actions, he is attempting to discredit the publications.

His statement was made in response to an article by “Batumelebi,” which questioned why the hate speech monitoring agency established by “Georgian Dream” has failed to react to Gamsakhurdia, even while fining and prosecuting hundreds of activists.

Gamsakhurdia is notorious on social media for using obscene language, frequently swearing at and insulting political opponents. Even after posting this initial piece of disinformation, he has continued to publish numerous offensive status updates on his personal Facebook page, consistently tagging “Netgazeti.
